Sorry if this has been answered somewhere before...I've read your whole comic so if it was I missed it somewhere!...your pet...what is it? Does it really roam free like that? I guess it never occurred to me that it was a real pet...I always figured it was a fictional concoction!

She's a chinchilla. She had a cage but for an hour or two a night I'd let her roam free in the living room. My caricature isn't so accurate, but google will give you a better idea of what they really look like.

Neat! They remind me a little of Nausicaa's pet, from Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind.
