The first thing I did was research teacher pinups to get a sense of the genre. This one stood out as the look I had in mind.


This was my first commission that required a proper likeness so Andi supplied many reference photos. Here's two.

Around this time last year I submitted to Jamar Nicholas' "BBWW: The Fat Wonder Woman Blog." Now he's celebrating his first year online and artists are responding with a celebratory theme.

This piece by Mike R Baker inspired me to draw a similar scenario...with a twist.

A bit of concept art for an animated music video I want to make for my friend Suzanna's song "The Race." This first image is sort of lyrically literal, but the rest of the video won't be as much.


Will I ever have the time or ability to animate a 4 minute song? Possibly!

Slow day at work the other day so I diddle-daddled in Photoshop. I've got a new comic I'll be starting probably by the end of this year and I've been experimenting with different looks. I was trying to emulate this style.

Here's a drawing I did this week to sort of break up the melancholy monotony of the New York story, it was a submission for this great blog that's collecting drawings of fat Wonder Women. He'll probably post it in the next update.
